Hyperfox is taking its first steps towards a stronger presence in Germany by opening an office at Startport in Duisburg.
With Yusen Logistics already a customer, thanks to a matchmaking event at the logistics and maritime incubator, the decision to set up a permanent base comes as interest from additional prospects in the region grows. Duisburg’s strategic location and logistics infrastructure make it an ideal location for Hyperfox’s German expansion.
Duisburg: A Key Location for Growth
Startport, located in the port of Duisburg, offers an exciting environment for startups in logistics, and Hyperfox is eager to tap into its network. After a successful participation in the Future Logistics event in May, Hyperfox sees Duisburg as a beachhead for further exploring the German market. The proximity to the headquarters at Corda Campus in Hasselt—just a 1.5-hour drive—makes Duisburg a convenient and strategic location for the company’s next phase of growth.
Positioning for the Future
Founder Tom Devos is optimistic about the move, stating, "Startport is an interesting community for Hyperfox. It opens up significant opportunities to enter the German market. The Startport team has been very eager to help us get started, and we’re looking forward to working closely with them. In the near future, we may even hire our first German team member to support our expansion efforts." This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Hyperfox in its journey to scale internationally.
