Hyperfox, a startup based in Limburg on the Corda Campus, has been chosen to participate in the 15th cohort of the renowned technology accelerator Birdhouse.
Exciting Opportunity and Growth
This opportunity presents the young company with a robust three-month acceleration program along with a cash investment. Founded in 2016 with support from Belfius, Birdhouse has guided nearly 200 startups since its inception, and Hyperfox is now joining the next cohort. This makes Birdhouse one of the larger Belgian accelerators, with last year seeing the addition of its own venture capital fund.
Mentorship and Development
The 15th cohort is being hosted by Hadewig De Corte, formerly holding C-level positions at institutions like Ziekenhuis Sint-Jan Brussel, Wolters Kluwer, and BNP Paribas Fortis. "Tom and his team successfully navigated through a rigorous selection process, where I played the role of a tough critic. As the 'mother hen' of this cohort, I am eager to propel Hyperfox towards sustainable growth," said De Corte. "Over the next 12 weeks, we will immerse Hyperfox and 10 other high-potential entrepreneurs in a pool of strong mentorship from our captains of industry, laying solid foundations for robust international expansion."
Early Progress and Future Goals
"On just day 2 of the program, we've already had over 15 calls with potential mentors and advisors, each one an expert in their field, accomplishing what we aim to do with our 'foxes'," remarked founder Tom Devos. "I look forward to strengthening and preparing the company for the next phase in the coming weeks. Our story can be amplified, our platform made more robust, and our processes streamlined. Birdhouse provides us with valuable insights for sustainable growth."
